Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By using M-Xchange you agree to these Terms of Service and to any policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the platform.
2. Eligible use
You must be at least 18 years old, located in Cameroon, and legally able to operate MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money wallets. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Service description
M-Xchange facilitates transfers between MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money wallets. We do not hold customer balances. Each exchange request is executed in real time once you approve the debit on your handset.
4. Fees & limits
Standard exchanges carry a 5% service fee (minimum 100 XAF). Additional limits may apply based on regulatory requirements or mobile network constraints.
5. User responsibilities
Provide accurate sender and recipient numbers, approve debits promptly, and notify support immediately if you notice suspicious activity. M-Xchange is not liable for transfers sent to incorrect numbers supplied by the user.
6. Suspicious activity & compliance
We reserve the right to pause or cancel transactions that trigger compliance reviews. You may be asked to provide identification or additional information before a transfer can be completed.
7. Service availability
We aim for 24/7 uptime but occasional maintenance or network outages may occur. When possible we will share status updates on the dashboard or via email.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M-Xchange is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you paid in the 90 days preceding the event.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date and notify active customers via email or in-app notice.
